Methods for Human Centered Computing surveys current and emergent methods in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) including Interaction Design (ID) and User Experience (UX) to prepare students for a career in IT. In the first week, students co-design the class with the teaching team identifying methods that students will learn and practice during 4 design sprints over the semester. The methods we learn in class are methods that industry specialists regularly use. Students work in teams during the design sprints to iteratively design an interactive prototype.
